Forgive the digression; it is just that, at this point, most of our Caretaking Couple readers are also familiar with my natural bath and body products business, Mountain Girl Organics.
If you have not heard already, Mountain Girl Organics, LLC is going up for sale as soon as all of the bookwork is taken care of. My realtor will be Sue Caicedo of Evergreen Commercial Group. Here is her contact info:

I know a lot of you have questions (the most popular being “How Much Are You Selling It For?!?) and we are busy working on all of that.
My inventory and equipment are currently with my friend and mentor Laurie Teason in Lakewood, CO. She has a commercial kitchen there and would like to continue on with MGO.
Laurie does not come with the sale : ) however she is familiar with all things MGO and would prove invaluable should someone without industry experience purchase MGO.

FIRST and foremost, HUGE WARM HUGS to you sweet girl. i know this is very hard for you. i’m wishing you THE best right now. it appears that you are on the right path and it will be so great to keep it local to colorado at least? thoughts? can’t wait to see the specs, the hubster even asked about it. waiting with bated breath.
on a side note: i got WHIPPED today. AND it felt good. jealous much. michael is fabulous. what a great story he has. thanks for introducing me to him.

Yes, I very much want to keep Mountain Girl Organics in Colorado. To me, it just belongs there. The potential is great and I have a feeling that the buyer will be someone very familiar with the story and the product.
There have been four serious inquiries so we shall see what happens. It is one of those businesses that one could buy today and have up and running tomorrow.
Waiting for Jody (bookkeeper) to finish the books (she has had a series of life’s little emergencies but is aiming for next week). Meanwhile, Sue (realtor) and I are getting all other specs in order…
A bit sad, but also excited. If it does not sell I may very well go back to it when I am ready; however I believe it will sell and the products will be available again come spring!
Ohh, and you met Michael Markley! Isn’t he a gem, and isn’t that Blosm divine? Hope you do a Friday feature – I think your demographic would get a big kick out of it!
